Veritas Explorer K-2 Summer Camp

 

Join us this summer, where we will explore history, nature, music, art, reading, drama, math activities, and Bible while having fun! Campers will go on Nature scavenger hunts, visit Museums and  splash parks, and  perform skits among many other things. Register today. Your child will love this Explorer Camp where we bring our lessons interactive and come to life through skits, outside learning, and having fun.

 

Veritas Discovery 3-12 Summer Camp

 

Summer Camp is a place to try new things, discover new talents, and hone our skills. At Veritas’ Summer Fun Discovery Camp a customized schedule full of fun activities and trips around DC will allow you to dive deeper into your existing passions, as well as explore new interests. No matter where your interests take you– theater, history, music, robotics, and more; there is something for everyone at our Summer Fun Discovery Camp! What will you discover this summer?

Veritas Summer Fun Discovery Camp Registration Information

 

Camp Fees:

  • Veritas Discovery and Explorer Camp Fee is $425 per week except for the 1st and 3rd
    week which is $340. There is no camp on June 19 and July 4 for National Holidays.
  • If you can only come to part of a session, check the box for that session then contact the office to inform them when you can come.
  • Traditional Symphonic Orchestra and Guitar Orchestra will be offered in the camp.
    Enjoy a four week intensive program dedicated to strings, brass, and woodwinds or classical
    guitar. Students will be introduced to beautiful orchestral string and chamber music while
    developing strong sight reading skills. Students should bring their own string/wind/brass
    instruments (violin, viola, cello,trumpet, clarinet, flute, guitar, etc.). Led by Veritas
    Conservatorium Director Mr. Schwertfeger.
  • For Orchestra Experience ONLY 4 weeks, morning class (July 17 - Aug. 11) $700.
  • The weekly Lunch/snack fee is $75. It must be paid upfront. No refunds for missed meals.
  •  There is a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $250 required at the time of registration.
  •  There is a sibling discount of 10% off the total due for each sibling registered after the first child. This will show on the final invoice not on the initial $250 payment.
  •  A $50 late fee will be assessed for final balance payments and/or required health forms received after the due date.
  •  A $25 fee will be charged for returned checks.
  •  Fees are not prorated for absences or partially-attended sessions.

REGISTERING FOR CAMP

In 4 Steps

Step 1 - Register Online

  • Register online. Fill out one online registration form per child.
  • Submit a $250 deposit online using a credit card.
  • A receipt will be emailed to you afterwards.

 Step 2 - Submit remaining balance

  • To ensure that a child’s space is guaranteed, please remit the remaining balance by Friday, May 19, 2023 or within 7 days of receiving the emailed invoice if registering after this date.
  • The invoice will be sent by mid-April and will come directly from Veritas Collegiate Academy.
 Step 3 - Submit Required Forms

  • Submit all required forms AND pay your remaining balance by Friday, May 19, 2023, or within 7 days of registering after this date.
  • If you register later than 7 days prior to the start date, forms must be submitted by the first day of class.
  • Children without proper paperwork will not be allowed to attend camp until all forms are submitted, and a $50 late fee will be assessed

Step 4 - June Welcome Information

Parents/guardians will receive information in early June with details on camp policies, pick-up and drop-off procedures and more.

Changing/Dropping Sessions

  • If you want to change sessions, email gperry@veritasca.com directly.
  • After Friday, May 19, 2023 no drops or changes will be allowed, no refunds will be given, and parents/guardians are responsible for paying in full for all sessions for which your child is registered.
  • The deposits paid at the time of the registration are non-refundable and non-transferable. Refunds are not given for absences or partially-attended sessions.
